Programme Notes:
This re-composition of Should Incidentally Fall (originally written for saxophone quartet) develops themes from all four saxophone parts to create a new work featuring alto saxophone.
The percussion features prominent vibraphone writing and includes percussion instruments not so common in chamber music, such as whistle, shaker, jingle tambourine and the player's own choice of metal and wood percussion instruments.
